A: It is a must to have basic computer and internet skills for taking on-line classes. You will need to be able to download PDF files, view videos and to send and receive emails. It is beneficial that you know how to locate files within your computer so that you can upload the files during your class sessions. We will not be able to teach you these skills. It is best to have hi-speed connection to the internet because some of the class files could be rather large. If you have a dial-up connection to the internet it will be difficult or impossible to get your class files.
A: You will need to download the latest version of Adobe's free Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. Click on the link for the FREE download. Most lessons are format as PDF files which require the Acrobat Reader program to open, read and save. Whether you are PC or Mac users there is an Acrobat Reader for both.
A: No, this is what makes on-line classes so much fun, you can access purchased classes (PDF’s & Videos) anytime and work at your leisure. How easy is that? You are free to come and go whenever it is convenient for you. Take as long as you wish during the specified duration of the class.
A: You will have access to a community forum, which will be ID'd and password protected, where you can chat with your class, ask questions to your instructor, and upload pictures to share with your fellow classmates in the "Student Gallery" section. The message board is private and only the instructor, you and your fellow students will be able to read questions and answers.
A: We encourage all students to visit, communicate and ask questions through the community forum message board. We want you to get the full benefit of taking courses through "A for Artistic”. Of course, you are still welcome to take online classes without any communication but the way that we have set-up the courses at "A for Artistic” is that communication is an important part of your creative class experience. Many times, instructors will post additional techniques or important information that you will only get from the forum message board. The forum message board will be up for two weeks after the last lesson has been posted.
A: Of course! As long as the class is visible on the site but please refresh or reload the site page to double check if the class is actually on the page or not. If the class remains on the site after refreshing or reloading you are still able to register for the class. Generally speaking each class remains open for enrollment two weeks after the start date. If you are not sure about a certain course or a course is closed, please don't hesitate to contact me: [email protected] and I will let you know if you are able to enroll in the class or if the course will be offered again at a later time.
A: We only accept PayPal as a method of payment. When you click on the PayPal button you will see two payment options. One to pay via your PayPal account and a second option to pay via credit card through PayPal if none of the above options do not appeal to you than contact me, [email protected] to make arrangements to pay by check and to set-up your class enrollment.
A: The courses that are offered by "A for Artistic” will allow the students to have classroom access an additional two weeks after the course has been completed. If you have registered for a course and circumstances make it difficult for you to finish in the allotted time, don't hesitate to contact me, [email protected] by email and ask if the course can be extended for you. At "A for Artistic” we want you to have a great learning experience and we understand that sometimes life brings some unexpected turns, so always communicate with me for assistance.
A: Yes, you can take as many classes as you like just make sure that you have sufficient time to complete the class project and learn the techniques for each class you have selected. Also, keep in mind to download all of your lessons within the allotted time that the class is being offered.
At "A for Artistic” we want you to have a wonderful successful class.
A: Well, that is a very generous thought but only the student that purchases the course is authorized to use the information and sharing the information is a copyright violation. We count on our students to remain honest so we can continue to offer these classes and keep our instructors happy.
A: Class fees are refundable until the start-up date of the class. Once the class begins NO REFUND will be issued. If you enroll after a class has started there will be NO REFUND.
A: You email me at [email protected]
