A-Tisket, A-Tasket with Cindee Moyer, NIADA Artist
This 18” doll incorporates both fabric and paper clay. The body, head and arms are constructed from fabric with a soft-sculpted face that is ‘skinned’ and then defined with marker, colored chalks and acrylic paint. Her legs are sculpted from paper clay and attached to fabric ‘thighs’.
The costume consists of wide-legged gathered pants and a kimono-like top. She carries two coil baskets with a blackbird hitching a ride on one of them.
The hair on my doll is made from horse hair, but any hair making material will work.
