Santa Claus Is Coming To Town with Deb Wood, Polymer Clay Artist

Santa

When things are toasty warm outside, let’s all get busy in our studios INSIDE and have visions of snowflakes and sugar plums dancing in our heads!

Come and join Deb as she introduces you to this jolly little elf. Santa is made completely from clay with the exception of his wispy wool beard– and those cute little Christmas gift packages! Yes, that will be part of this class too– as a special surprise, Deb will show you how to make tiny gift packages, and this class will include a custom designed layout of assorted miniature holiday wrap paper for you to print out at home. And she will show you how to make those miniature bows, too!

Jolly St. Nick is 5 inches tall seated, (12.7 cm) and that’s from his round little bottom to the top of the pompom on his cap. His garment, boots, mittens and ’fur’ are all made from clay. No painting eyes either– as we will use black beads for his eyes – how easy is that? This class will be presented in four lessons and would be ideal for someone just starting out and wanting to learn more about polymer clay. So yes, this would be a Beginner Level Class, but anyone can join us and learn to make this cute little Elf.

What a great gift to make for those special friends and family on your list– and with our Christmas in July party, you will have lots of time to get him finished! Heck, you could make several! He is fun and easy to make.
Gather your supplies, and St. Nick will see you in class!
