Jonah in the Whale with Susan BarmoreJonah

This is a Steampunk version of Jonah and the Whale. The Whale opens his mouth to reveal Jonah seated inside in his diving gear patiently waiting to get free.

The Whale is 16” long made from muslin, wire and heavy duty, double sided fusible interfacing. He has some Paperclay and Craft Foam parts and is embellished with gears, brads and beads.
The head lifts up and is connected to the body with screws and wing nuts. Inside the whale, are his tonsils, ribs, tongue, and Jonah.
