Mister Big 'B' "with Chomick+Meder, NIADA Artists
"Mister Big 'B'" is an 11" tall standing, posable figure with wire and wood ball armature. The twisted wire legs are attached off-center to the big wood ball so, depending on the position of the armature, you can choose whether to make a "Mister Big Belly", or "Mister Big Butt" -- even better, the costume pattern works for both! The shoes have embedded magnets allowing a variety of base options to display your "Mister Big 'B'", from metal (eg. small tin container) to non-metal (eg. wood plaque) with additional magnets secured to the underside of the base. The possibilities are endless!
Make an Artie Bean with Chomick+Meder, NIADA Artists
We will show you how to make an "Artie Bean" starting with constructing the armature using wood dowels and twisted wire; sculpting his head, hands and feet in Paperclay with brushes and the supplied templates; then sewing his costume (patterns are included); followed by priming, painting and varnishing the body parts; applying the hair and shaping the brush-do; and finally assembling and filling the Bean.
