This class is for all skill levels and is a good introduction to using Premier airdry stone clay for delicate sculpting. 

"Ryu" Asian BJD Dragon Meagan & Pat Lillich

Join us as we continue exploring techniques in sculpting Asian style ball jointed dolls. In this class we'll be creating the dragon Ryu using an air-dry clay such as Premier. He stands approximately 21 inches long with over 30 joints, including fully articulated neck and tail. We will be covering the basic methods of working with air dry clay, using a character sketch and diagram to work from, creating several styles of ball joints, as well as a mix of additive and subtractive sculpting styles. The class will also cover techniques on sealing air dry clay and stringing a jointed figure.

Mochi - Asian Style BJD with Meagan & Pat Lillich

Mochi

In this series we'll be sculpting Mochi, a fully jointed rabbit girl with serious attitude who has 19 points of articulation, stands nearly 16 inches tall with digitigrade legs, movable tail, and jointed ears. We will also discuss stringing and finishing the doll, including sealing and painting the clay.
